Welcome to The TS Page

Well now you've gone and done it! If you know what TS means, then I guess I don't need to tell you anything more. For those of you who might not know what TS stand for - well get ready! TS stands for Transsexual or Transsexualism. Transsexual people have a condition known as Gender Identity Dysphoria (or Disorder). With this condition people's gender is in conflict with their physical sex (appearance). Below are a bunch of links for learning more about the subject.

Lets start with terms...

  1. The first one is Transgender.
  2. Next is Transsexual.
  3. Finally we have Transwoman.

In common terms, I am a Male to Female transsexual, Post-Op, TransWoman and I belong to an organization for Transgender people. I was born into a male body, but always felt I had a female gender, so I underwent the process of changing my body to be as female as modern science can make it - thus the "male to female" part. I transitioned my physical sex - so "transsexual". I have had several major surgeries, including those that made my genitals look like a woman's - so "post-op". I live as a woman in society but I don't forget that I have a very unique set of life experiences, that most women don't have - which leads to "Transwoman". I am a member of TGEA (the TransGender Education Association), which exists to educate, help and support transgendered individuals, their Significant Others, Families, and Friends. In this context Transgender means - anyone who doesn't follow the social norms for gender expression.
